People linger outside Tastee Sub in Edison, N.J., shortly after President Obama's July 28 visit.

Photo taken just outside of Tastee Subs in Edison, NJ. The place was swarming with police, secret service, civilians, and members of the press. Whenever someone found a good vantage point, the authorities would block off the view with a big truck of some sort.
Even with my press pass, I couldn't get close enough to get a decent pic. Secret service told me that unless I was pre-approved by the White House weeks in advance (read: pretty much only the AP and CNN were allowed anywhere near Tastee Subs), there was basically no way I'd be allowed near the President. Bummer.
It was hot, it was humid, it was miserable. Some poor girl threw up on my shoe and fainted. Not fun, but somehow still worth going.
